Israel Camerata Jerusalem

The leading chamber orchestra in Israel, the Israel Camerata Jerusalem performs over 100 concerts a year locally and internationally. An experiment in Israeli “melting pot” endeavors, the Camerata is under the musical direction of talented conductor, Avner Biron, who successfully brings together newcomers and veterans in a unique and expert manner to create magnificent music that ranges from classical Baroque to contemporary. The Camerata was established in Rehovot by Professor Avner Biron in 1984 and relocated to Jerusalem after an invitation from then Mayor Ehud Olmert. Performances by the Camerata are well received and appreciated by discerning audiences and venues around the world.
