Servicing three generations of satisfied customers, Magdaniat Pe'er is Jerusalem's oldest bakery. Back in the day, Magdaniat Pe'er set up its first branch in the German Colony, where they recently expanded with a small outdoor garden set in a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. There is also WiFi for anyone who wants to surf the web while sipping coffee and savoring the taste of sweetness. What differentiates Magdaniat Pe'er as a quality bakery shop is the heart and soul they put into every pastry, and the homey feeling that customers get with every bite. Magdaniat Pe'er serves up cakes, sugarless cookies, pastries with whole wheat flour, all sorts of bourekas, breads, danishes, decorative cakes for any occasion such as birthday and events, many of which are sold only abroad. Magdaniat Pe'er has a branch in Mahane Yehuda market serving unique and stylish coffee and of course all the delicious sweets to go along with it. There are two branches: 5 Hamagid St, German Colony and 33 Eitz Chaim, Mahane Yehuda Market.

Great bakery at Yehuda Market! The Rugelach and the cinnamon rolls are fresh, soft and delicious. Good prices and friendly service. I missed the Challah bread this time, but I’ll definitely try it next time!

I bought a small package of baklava for 50 shekels. I asked the seller if it was fresh. He said yes, I opened a spoiled, tasteless one.

I bought a walnut cake and it was mostly dough, a few pieces of walnuts, a little cinnamon and a lot of sugar water. Simply impudence. If it were possible to upload a picture here I wouldn't have to write anything.

A family bakery that has undergone (partial) rebranding, but in reality everything is in market bags and with packaging that doesn't always match the products. So what do you do? You tear up the paper packaging to make it...

What a shame! They sell the Rogelach outside on a 'sale' of 3 molds for 50 NIS. What they don't say is that it's dry and has probably been sitting there for a few days in the package. And it's definitely not the fresh one...
