The exhibition
For over 35 years, the Temple Institute (Machon Hamikdash) has been involved in Temple research and education. During your visit to the visitors’ center, located in the Jewish Quarter of Jerusalem’s Old City you will see:
- Over 70 of the Holy Vessels which have been reproduced and are ready for the service
- Exquisite original paintings of the Holy and its service
- The uniforms of the Kohanim (Priests)
- A breathtaking detailed 1:100 scale model of the Second Temple, created from marble, gold and copper.
The exhibition was designed by expert architects and allows visitors to experience a taste of the glory of the Temple.
