The Time Elevator invites you on a historical journey in a hi-tech theater in the heart of Jerusalem. Surrounded by interactive screens on seats with 6 motion axis, you'll feel like you've become a part of the story of Jerusalem's history.
Your journey will be guided by Chaim Topol playing the role of the 3,000-year-old guide named Shalem. Together, you'll embark on a fascinating journey through the layers of Jerusalem's history in chronological order:
You'll plunge deep beneath the ground and meet iconic figures like Solomon, Zedekiah, Jeremiah, Herod, and many other people who lived and worked in ancient Jerusalem. This is an exhilarating journey that will take you through the mansions of the Second Temple period, King Solomon's hidden palace, and down the alleys of the ancient Byzantine city. Join in on the search for lost treasures in hidden caves, meet Salah ad-Din face to face, and take a breathtaking aerial tour of Jerusalem.
A Combined Experience with the Double-Decker Red Bus
After your visit to the Time Elevator, you'll take a short walk to 14 Agrippas Street, where a double-decker bus will be waiting to take you on an enchanting tour of Jerusalem on the lower deck or high up above traffic on the top deck! The bus tour is an experience that introduces you to some of the city's most popular sites, just like tour buses in major foreign cities. The bus has an audio tour available in 25 languages, including Yiddish and Amharic.
The tour lasts for an hour and a half, taking you around the Old City walls, and includes a panoramic lookout from the breathtaking Mount of Olives.
Travelers on the tour enjoy the wonderful panoramic views, and the clear mountain air, all enhanced by sitting on the upper deck of the bus.
