Experience the Excitement of the Arts at the Jerusalem Theater, one of Israel’s largest centers for art and culture. The theater was established in 1971 in the suburb of Rehavia, and in its five halls, takes to stage top-quality local and international dance, music, and theater performances, as well as films.

The theater halls range in size and include the 970-seat Sherover Theater, the Henry Crown Concert Hall accommodating 760 seats Henry Crown Symphony Hall, the Little Theater (117 seats), and the recently opened Studio, which seats 300.

Over 600,000 visitors attend the Jerusalem Theater every year to sample from the rich range of performances selected by the theater’s repertoire committee. In addition, the theater provides a stage for a variety of local festivals including the critically acclaimed International Oud Festival, the Curtain Up dance festival, the Puppet Theater Festival, and of course, the Israel Festival.

The theater also boasts a coffeehouse, a book and music store, and spacious foyers that are often used for art exhibitions and concerts. The theater is wheelchair-accessible.

Large theatre complex including a large auditorium at a fairly steep angle to ensure good line of sight for all. Very effective sound system, and automatic messages "personalised" to the specific audience/show. From what...
