Früher galt sie als Geheimtipp für den "anderen" Panoramablick auf die Stadt Jerusalem. Das hat sich nun hinreichend rumgesprochen. Gut so. Lohnt aber auch. Die Aussicht auf Jerusalem von Süden zeigt einmal mehr, dass die Stadt sehr hügelig ist und vom Anblick - auch von dieser Seite - reizvoll und schön ist.

We visited around noon, and with the sun to our back, the contrast of blue sky against the white buildings was spectacular! A plaque points out the major landmarks. The old and the new, with several thousand years of history in between – stretched out in front of you!

The Haas Promenade offers a terrific view of the city. We took a group of young people here (about 40) when staying at the Beit Ben Yehuda hostel. it is an easy walk - and gave us a great place to hang out. One caution - is if you walk all the way down...

We took a group of young people here (about 40) when staying at the Beit Ben Yehuda hostel. it is an easy walk - and gave us a great place to hang out. One caution - is if you walk all the way down the bottom, you exit through a potentially hostile neighbourhood.
