After circumventing some alleyways we landed in a lovely courtyard that was the entrance to the Nahon museum. On the second floor we were greeted by a man explaining the museum layout. We were the only ones there and the lights for the museum were turned on just for us. There was an informative exhibit on display. The museum culminates with an Italian synagogue moved to this location. The whole museum is very small and can take 45 minutes tops to navigate. It’s a nice add on to other activities in the area. The music museum is just steps away. A lovely hidden spot.

We were here in January. It was a really interesting little museum and as many other people have written in their reviews the host was extremely hospitable and nice. We were the only people in the museum at the time and he was very welcoming to us and offered us a special tour!

A surprising small museum that has created a window into the past history of Italian Jewish Life and Art...The museum contains carefully chosen Jewish Art objects that illuminate past.history including antique tapestries, ritual silver, illuminated manuscripts and the painted interior walls of a Succor In addition to the museum the building contains a lovely reconstructed Italian synagogue which is currently in use. Our delightful guide Raoul made our experience even more meaningful by his enthusiastic and thoughtful explanations of the contents and restoration work of artifacts happening in this amazing building.
