A Home for Accessible, Creative Cuisine

In Latin, Menza means a house of food. Located among the art galleries and boutique shops of Betsalel Street in downtown Jerusalem, Menza restaurant in Jerusalem is exactly that, open 7 days a week from morning until the last customer, working to bring its patrons fresh, high-quality, creative cuisine from breakfast to dinner in a casual, accessible atmosphere.

The Menu

Every day at Menza starts with a rich breakfast featuring a gauntlet of selections from the world's best morning cuisines -- frittata, croque monsieur, french toast, bacon and eggs, sandwiches, muesli, fresh-baked pastries and of course the classic Israeli breakfast spread. Stop by on Saturday for brunch and get special prices on various cocktails alongside your standard hot and cold drinks.

The brasserie-esque lunch and dinner menu presents a lot of tough choices. Their hamburger -- on a homemade bun with your choice of toppings -- may be the best in the city, and there's no shortage of other amazing options for meat-lovers. The classic entrecote steak is certainly some prime choice beef, the baby back ribs fall right off the bone and the corned beef sandwich is executed to perfection.

However, you also don't want to miss out on Menza's specialty -- fresh takes on Mediterranean classics like crab risotto, gnocchi with seafood, lasagna, seared tuna nicoise salad and others. Then, of course, there's the ceviche, which is absolutely out of this world.

Food is certainly the focus at Menza, but they also don't slack off on the drinks, offering some of the best and most creative cocktails in the city alongside a healthy menu of wines and craft beers on tap and in bottles.

The attention to details is on point; they take you from presentation to taste to enjoyment. If food could make you fall in love, it would be served at Menza. However, kosherish is the most you can hope for. Each bite mas...
