Mona Restaurant is located in the Artists’ House in the city center, a beautiful and impressive stone building constructed in the late 19th century. The building originally served as the first home of the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, founded by Boris Schatz.
At Mona, guests are welcomed with a refined Mediterranean menu that uniquely incorporates European influences. The restaurant offers carefully crafted, seasonal cuisine alongside exceptional wines and fine spirits. In the evening hours, the space fills with Jerusalem’s young nightlife crowd, students, tourists, and members of the local and international media. Advance reservations are recommended.
In the building’s beautiful stone courtyard, Mona’s wine bar—Nagid 12—opened in 2024. The bar offers an accessible and diverse wine menu featuring selections from Israel and around the world, accompanied by precise small plates, a distinctly Jerusalem atmosphere, and a varied cultural events program.
