Morning:
I recommend you park at Mount Zion and start your day at one of the nicest parts of the Old City of Jerusalem, right here at Mount Zion. So many Churches, Monasteries, Synagogues and old Cemeteries all in one place. When visiting it don't miss the Tomb of King David that is important for Jews Christians and Muslims. In the same compund you will find the Room of the Last Supper, one of the most important Christian sites in the city. At the entrance to the Last Supper you will see all 3 Abrahamic faiths side by side: A holy site for Christians, on its door you will see the inscription dedicated by the royal Muslim Ottoman Sultan's, and a Jewish Mezuzah.

If time permits take a short walk to the nearby Dormition Abbey, one of the most impressive chruches in Jerusalem.
We are focusing this visit on the Muslim part of the Old City so make way to the Muslim Quarter via Zion gate followed by the Armenian quarter. Many tourists go through the Muslim Quarter as they walk the Via Dolorosa, but sadly they don't dedicate enough time to the biggest quarter of the old city. My favorite place there is Abu Musa coffee shop at the Cotton Merchants Market. Have a sit at the simple wooden chairs, get yourself turkish coffee with cardamom, hot tea or fresh juice and enjoy the centuries old atmosphere.
In the market you can learn about the five pillars of Islam, the Masbaha chain that is used to commemorate the name of Allah, the prayer rugs. The Waqf real estate that is dedicated for charity, the Ramadan decorations and even the old office to issue visas for the Haj in Mecca. Fascinating. After a short break make way to the Temple Mount.
Noon:
My favorite place in Jerusalem is the Temple Mount. When visiting Jerusalem - don't miss the opportunity to visit the Holiest place on earth, and the place where the creation started and the Temples of Jerusalem stood. So many stories, traditions and historical events are connected to this place. You will feel how divine it is the moment you enter. Make sure to double check the opening hours in advance and keep the modest dress code.

- Summer time between 7:00am -11:00am and 01:30pm - 02:30pm
- The Temple Mount is closed to visitors on Fridays, Saturdays, and Muslim holidays.
During the month of Ramadan, entry is only permitted in the morning.
