It is gery interesting to see how the great writer had lived. His books are there and his Nobel prize. You can see the stand - not rable- he was writing on.
Shai Agnon House
In his Nobel Prize acceptance speech, the acclaimed author said (in Hebrew), “As a result of the historic catastrophe in which Titus of Rome destroyed Jerusalem and Israel was exiled from its land, I was born in one of the cities of the Exile. But always I regarded myself as one who was born in Jerusalem.” Thus it is fitting that Agnon’s home in the Talpiot neighborhood has become an established Jerusalem institution where people come to see Agnon’s humble living quarters, his extensive library, and, of course, his Nobel Prize.
The reading room of the Agnon House museum hosts lectures and workshops and organizes walking tours and other events throughout the year.

Spend a little more and get the audio tour, That will give you a very very good glimpse of Mr, Agnon's life. Where he came from, why he chose Talpiot and how he became such a prolific author. The grounds are also quite beautiful as is the view from the second floor, When you walk up to the second floor stop a minute and breath in the scent of Mr, Agnon's book collection. Definitely worth your time to spend a little bit of time in this part of Talpiot.
