MoreThe most horrific ”SPA” experience I’ve ever had in my life. The therapist did not speak a word of English. I was not asked ANY basic questions that are supposed to be asked prior to a massage, aka if I have any injuries, how much pressure I’d like, what areas to focus on etc. I have an injury that I always ask before any massage NOT to touch. I’ve explained it to the therapist, she PRETENDED like she understood it and then the next thing I know she start pressing on it with HUGE pressure. I had to communicate with her via Google Translator to explain myself and even after that she still kept on trying to massage that area AND using too much pressure on my entire body, even though I asked her not too. I left the massage in excruciating pain and could barely move my neck into one of the directions the following day. nnCherry on the top? They made me pay for the massage before it even started, so when I asked for a refund, the manager of the spa BLAMED me for this entire experience because I was 3 minutes late to the appointment and apparently because of that they did not ask me any health-related questions. He also tried to “educate” me that apparently I should not have chosen deep tissue massage, even though that’s I’ve been doing my entire life and NEVER had an issue before.

MoreI really enjoyed my massage - i went to 1,5 hour Aromatherapy Classic massage and i felt a huge relief in my whole body. Anyway, if it wasnt a present i probably wont go there - the place is really expensive. The spa is amazingly decorated and it has some fucilities such as hamam and sun deck on the roof top with a wonderful view on Jerusalem. I was a bit frustrated when discovered that their swimming pool is covered and not in the same place as a sun deck. I also bought a breakfast voucher which is served in Mamilla hotel - but did not love it - i would not recommend spending 90 shekels on it.nThe staff were really nice and helpful.nOverall i did enjoyed but cannot say it was the best spa-experience in my life

MoreI have been going to the Akasha spa for over two years, mostly for deep tissue massage. Elinor is one of the best masseuses I have ever had. She is very professional and has such a great understanding of the body, and how to work on the pressure points to relieve tension. Her technique is precise and effective. On top of that, she is warm, caring, and considerate. I always feel relaxed and reenergised after her massage. Thank you Elinor!
