The Antea Gallery is a space for women’s art at the Kol Ha'Isha Jerusalem Women’s Center, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting a multicultural feminist model of social change.
The activist art gallery seeks to create a forum for discussing issues that relate to women, art and society, and to advance the multicultural discourse of women and female artists in Israel.
The gallery was opened in 1994 on King George Street and has since held over 50 exhibitions focusing on feminist subjects such as the alternative imagery of the female body, violence against women, and the cultural perception of beauty.
