Azza 40
Azza is a popular resto-bar in Jerusalem’s Rechavia neighborhood, favored not only for it’s Saturday opening hours, but also a delectable menu and fun atmosphere.
The non-kosher menu features everything from steaks, sandwiches and burgers to fish, seafood and pasta, including gems like their Caribbean seafood risotto and vegetarian options like the portabello burger.
The stylish decor featuring a wooden tables and bar makes for a casual, laid-back atmosphere, and it’s not uncommon for patrons to stick around for a night of drinking and merriment or to wander in later in the evening for drinks and selections from Azza 40’s late-night bar food menu.
And of course, Azza 40 honors the Israeli weekend tradition of brunch and breakfast with a special morning menu Saturday.

MoreWe live nearby, and often try to eat here. Very often it is full, since we never book tables in advance. But when it is not full we have always been satisfied with the food. It is one of the few places nearby where you can actually eat pork, and we also appreciate it being open on Shabbat and most holidays when everything around it is closed. The atmosphere is nice and casual, and the staff is helpful.

LessOn St. Valentines Day we were served relatively quickly, got very tasty meals, got al our question answered and didn't pay that much. It's important to notice they serve gluten-free food however the kitchen is not gluten free so if you have a serious allergy I'd advise you not to eat there. The downside...
