Every visit to Baltinester is a great one! The staff are very warm and welcoming, and are great at helping customers find exactly what they are looking for. My mother and I have amassed a collection of truly one of a kind, beautiful pieces over the years.

In 2016 I lost three 14K gold judaica charms when my necklace broke while playing with my grandchildren on a Florida beach. I was very upset since I had my Star of David for over 40 years. I searched everywhere both in brick and mortar and internet stores and finally found a 14K gold Star that was both beautiful and affordable. The store was Baltinester Jewelers in Jerusalem. I was very surprised when I received a text from Yarom asking if I was happy with my purchase. What great customer service from so far away. I mentioned that my niece lives in Tel Aviv and Yarom said that if I ever get to Jerusalem to give him a call and stop by the store. At that time, I had no plans of traveling to Israel but my sister and I subsequently planned a trip and were there this past March. Before leaving the states I called Yarom and told him I would be visiting him when in Jerusalem. Though I am sure he didn't remember our conversation a year prior, he acted like he did. While at the store which is just lovely, I found a Hamsa charm to add to my necklace, had a picture taken with Yarom and enjoyed the rest of my stay in the beautiful country of Israel. It was wonderful to be able to visit the store in person and meet Yarom. The jewelry is exquisite, the customer service excellent and I am sure that I will be purchasing more jewelry from there in the future. If anyone I know is in the market for fine Judaica jewelry, I will always refer them to Baltinester Jewelers.

I went to Baltinester to buy a ring as a memory of our trip to Israel. The owner helped me select a beautiful ring in my price range. And sized it in one day so I could bring it back with me to Chicago

I was there last week during my visit in Jerusalem and I accidentally bumped into the store. It was perfect timing because I was looking for a gift for my mother; Yoram and the staff were so helpful and friendly and I found the nicest Shma Yisrael pendant for her. Only after I was there I found out that this is considered the best store in Jerusalem with the highest reviews and frankly, I think it's the best one in Israel! I can definitely recommend them!

In 1976 when I was a student at Tel Aviv University, Baltinester in Jerusalem was THE place to go if you wanted a piece of jewelry with your Hebrew name so I purchased a gold ring which I have been wearing ever since. In 1980 when I was touring Israel with my parents we went to Baltinester to get a ring for my mother. After my mother passed away, I started wearing our rings side by side. I moved from New York to Jerusalem just about one year ago. A few weeks ago my mother's ring broke so I brought it to the shop to see if they could repair it. They did, quickly and at a reasonable price. Wouldn't you know that last week MY ring broke! Unfortunately, mine was thinner than my mother's and broken in several places so it could not be repaired. I didn't have to think twice about purchasing a new ring. It was ready for me very quickly but after wearing it for a day, I realized it was too big... uncomfortable and sort of flopping around. I went back to the store and there was no issue at all with making it smaller for me. Especially when you actually live here, you hear a lot about poor customer service but Baltinester does it right! Everyone is friendly and helpful. So much has changed here since 1976 but going to Baltinester is like visiting an old friend. (P.S. I myself design costume jewelry so when I buy the "real thing" I am very selective and critical. I plan to have them design a piece for me with stones from my mother's jewelry.)
