You must go to this area, every visit. It is the Shuk, the market. You can get almost anything there; fresh meat & fish, vegetables & bakery, spices and nuts, take out food (Tzidkiyahu is the best), sit-down dining, religious articles... Food vendors hand out samples. But most of all, observe the people; the vendors and the patrons. You might find everybody there. Religious and secular Jewish, Christian, Muslim... everybody. All very peaceful.
