This was right across the street from our hotel so we tried it out. We sat outside on the front patio and the service staff did not come out very often to check on us. We had to go inside to pay the check instead of waiting for the next time she would come out. There was a big screen TV on the patio that was running sports videos...a bit repetitive after a while. But on another night we were able to watch soccer and tennis matches. "Nachos" are really just chips and salsa.

I've rated this pub 4 stars on grounds that folks in their 20s or 30s would probably rate it 5-stars. Or 6 if they could. But for that, I personally would have rated it a 2-star or so. The interior decor is authentically pub-like. The design of the outdoor seating is fine. The location--in the heart of the pedestrian nightlife south of Jaffa Rd and east of King George is excellent. Their draught beer selection is outstanding,. On entry relatively early, the place was just beginning to wake up with a few fellows inside and perhaps 8 or 10 attractive young girls in groups. I suspect that by midnight the place would be absolutely rocking, and perhaps the best place in Jerusalem for young singles to go to party up. The AirCon inside was a blessed relief from the hear, but the music inside the pub was ear-splitting so I told the waitress that I preferred to sit outside (all tables were unoccupied outside). Alas, while it might have been a wee bit less skull-shattering, the pub had installed blazingly-loud speakers outside as well, for the amusement of its target customer base. I had hoped to spend a few hours there, trying a few of the draughts from their selection. Instead, I sipped my first pint (well, 0.4 or 0.5 litre, but you catch my meaning). One of the tunes they played was an ear-splitting rapper tune in which virtually every word was an obscenity. I paid my bill--I really was delighted with the Guinness--and got as far away from the place as fast as ever I could. So, if you're young or old and are here for a Christian pilgrimage, avoid the Dublin. If you're middle-ages and have no particular desire to contract or increase tintinitis, avoid it. But if you're in your 20s or early 30s, and looking for a rocking place to meet people, drink up, and perhaps find a new friend, this should be your cup of tea, and I'd strongly recommend you give it a try. I would have gone back in the early afternoon when hopefully I could have had a pint or two when it was quiet, but alas, it opens up at 1900. Oh, well.

I went to this place with my wife to have some cool time before go to bed, but We have just lived the worst experience in Israel or maybe in our lives. To start, we went there during their "happy hour", what is suppose to be, buy one and get one for free... We started drinking as normal and the waiter was talking in English with us all the time.. Until this point all good. So We decided to go... We ordered the bill and the waiter appeared with another Guinness beer.. We said again " The bill" ... So here I go with the problem. The "happy hour" is not from the drinking menu they gave us. or I'd say better, it is but only for a limited section.. So buy one and get one for free...COMPLETELY FAKE advertising.. We asked to talk to the manager. A man came to talk in a such rude way.. shouting at us.. and saying "you don't want to pay. so leave and never come back" that's loud enough to listen in the entire salon.. And he said it's written in the menu how the "happy hour" works.. what is trap because it's only in Hebraic and the waiter didn't say anything about it in English.. After shout and try to humiliate us he said "leave from my bar and I don't need your money" ... We started getting ready to leave and he comes and say pay what u think is fair.. So We paid half (what means buy one and get one for free, as it's in English and how it's everywhere in the world) I don't recommend the place and I recommend to pay attention on their menu if you go there. That's a pity I didn't take a photo of their menu
