We enjoyed this small museum! They are doing more work so O expect it will be even better. Get the Pass that includes the Burnt museum and the Huerva synagogue at the first one you visit. Allow about an hour or so.

Consists of 6 houses built on a hillside overlooking the Temple Mount in the Herodian period. The Herodian Quarter was discovered following the Six Day War. Our groups time there was less than two hours, so we didn't see as much as we would have liked to see.

I've been in many museums around the world and I think it's probably the worst out of them. It consists of old furniture and remaining of houses from ancient times. The place isn't well maintained nor looks appealing and therefore even tho there are many interesting pieces there, which mean a lot historically wise to Jews, the whole experience is very boring. The are many guided groups inside which makes it really difficult to wander by yourself and look at the display.
