About the Old City Train
Getting through the Old City to the Western Wall just got a little easier and a lot more fun with "The Old City Train," a transportation service that takes visitors from Jaffa Gate to the Western Wall that will offer rich audio tour experience and greatly increase accessibility to the Western Wall for the disabled.
Route & Schedule
The Old City Train makes it easy to visit leading heritage sites including the Western Wall Tunnel, the Chain of Generation center, the Jerusalem Archeological Park - Davidson center and more

The train route begins at Jaffa Gate and goes through the Armenian and Jewish Quarters before arriving at the Western Wall. The return leaves from the Dung Gate and travels via Mount Zion back to Jaffa Gate. Excursions leave every 30-45 minutes Sunday-Thursday from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm (6:00 pm in the winter) and on Fridays until 1 hour before Shabbat.
Tickets
There are two ticket offices, one located at Jaffa Gate and another at the Dung Gate near the Western Wall. The train operates on availability basis.

The staff at the Old City train can handle the entire production of bar/bat mitzvahs and other special events event based around a private tour and a lavish meal in a beautiful banquet hall with additional elements according to your tastes.
