Passover Recommended Wine Baskets
- 2017 Vintage Merlot / Carignan / Shiraz – A unique blend of 3 wine varieties that were composed by one of the most renowned vineyard owners of the wineries in the region of the Judaean Foothills. The wine has a deep red color and is extremely aromatic with flavors of ripe red fruits ans smoked meats. The wine has a sense of balance and a rich and long finish. It was aged in French oak barrels for 4 months. Price: 35 ILS.
- 2016 Marselan – This wine is 85% Marselan grapes, 8% Merlot grapes, and 7% Petit Verdot grapes. The wine grapes were harvested in their peak in a meticulous harvest in two of Israel’s refined wine growing regions – Judaean Mountains and Zikhron Ya’akov. The wine has aged for 10 months in oak, and as a result, you can feel the fruit notes of cherries, berries, vanilla, and a bit tobacco flavor. The wine has a balanced body and an excellent finish. Recommended serving temparture is 16-18 C. Price: 59 ILS
- 2016 Reserve Petit Verdot – The Petit Verdot grapes were harvested in a unique vineyard in the slopes of Mount Carmel. The wine has a deep purple color and fine flavors of plums, fresh cider, and vanilla. It is balanced and refreshing for the palate, with soft tannins and a long and compelling aftertaste. This wine aged in French oak barrels for 13 months. Price: 85 ILS
- 2014 Reserve Shiraz – An uplifting perfume of plums, vanilla, and vibrant red fruit notes. The wine aged in French oak barrels for 18 months, and it goes beautifully with rich and spicy meat courses. Sam Soroka recommends serving the wine in a temperature of 16-18 C. Price: 80 ILS
- 2014 Special Reserve Merlot Petit Verdot – This is a blend of 85% Merlot grapes and 15% Petit Verdot grapes, which were harvested in a Judaean Mountains vineyard in the region of Ella Valley. The wine has a very dark red color and complex flavors of rich plums, tobacco, liquorice, and spiced cedar. The palate gets a celebration of fleshy fruits with elegant and soft tannins. This wine aged in French barrels for 24 months. Price: 150 ILS
