Sultan Sweets

If you need a break from all the savory meats and hummus that characterize Abu Gosh cuisine, indulge in the other passion of Mediterranean cuisine -- super sweet desserts. At Sultan Sweets, the desserts will certainly be sweet to the average Westerners taste buds, but rest assured this is tame and measured compared to average fare. The knafe is superb and made so that the sweet, sugary taste is present, but you can still taste the fresh, local goat cheese. The baklava also allows tones down the sweetness to let you appreciate the ingredients.
