Beautiful and educational pieces from the Jewish Communities in Italy. Professional and fun curator. Overall great experience!

Intricate Works of Art

The displays of textile crafts cover ceremonial and everyday clothing. Many hours of hand work has gone into the making of these garments and we are fortunate this museum decided to showcase the results.

After circumventing some alleyways we landed in a lovely courtyard that was the entrance to the Nahon museum. On the second floor we were greeted by a man explaining the museum layout. We were the only ones there and the lights for the museum were turned on just for us. There was an informative exhibit on display. The museum culminates with an Italian synagogue moved to this location. The whole museum is very small and can take 45 minutes tops to navigate. It’s a nice add on to other activities in the area. The music museum is just steps away. A lovely hidden spot.
