We went as a tour group of 17, but there were much bigger groups and individuals as well. We had audio guides but found them rather useless. You simply can’t go that slow and they don’t post the channels to dial into in each room. You can read the displays and listen to video clips from survivors to get a wealth of information. You will need at least two hours to get through whole museum. Highly recommended

Moving experience

Our visit to Yad Vashem was conducted by a guide from the museum. Of course he was very knowledgeable and the son of Holocaust survivors. It was very educational and moving. The exhibit for the children lost brought me to tears. The museum is a must.

Emotional experience

This museum was incredible. The building itself is so well designed. It's full of artefacts, photos and factual accounts. If you are not moved emotionally by this place then you are not human!
