In recent years, the Christmas Market at New Gate has become one of Jerusalem’s standout winter events. It brings together tradition, culture, culinary experiences, and community, attracting tens of thousands of visitors from across Israel and around the world.
The market is produced in full cooperation with local business owners, neighborhood residents, cultural institutions, and regional communities, with the goal of creating a festive, safe, and accessible experience for the general public.
The market features 20 stalls operated by local entrepreneurs and businesses, offering a wide range of flavors, gifts, handmade items, and festive products. Food options include focaccias, pastries, hot tea, pizzas, ice cream, Belgian waffles, roasted chestnuts, popcorn, soups, Druze pitas, and hamburgers. In addition, visitors can find jewelry, Christmas merchandise, candles, soaps, and handmade household items.
This diverse selection ensures that every visitor can find something to enjoy, from Jerusalem street food and European winter flavors to unique handmade holiday gifts.
