Jerusalem is beautiful in any season and at any time and especially during the days of Hanukkah, when the windows of the Old City are lit with a multitude of Hanukkahs and paint the Old City in magnificent golden colors.
You are invited to a unique tour of the Jewish Quarter where you will get to know the Jerusalem Hanukkah world up close.
During the tour you will learn to differentiate between "Ashkenazi" lighting and "Spanish" lighting, you will see the ancient Chabad Synagogue, you will hear about the lighting customs of the Chabad Rebbe.
From there you will continue to Bati Mahsa square and compare the menorah with the temple lamp that is placed there.
Finally, you will reach the Galicia rooftops observation deck from which you will get a panoramic view of the Old City and the Western Wall.
A group candle-lighting ceremony will be held in Beti Mahsa Square.
The tour is intended for adults and families with children over the age of 10.
