The City of David invites visitors to celebrate the season with a variety of activities for families, groups, and individuals. Enjoy a combination of nature walks, historical tours, family-friendly activities, and cultural experiences across Jerusalem. The program highlights both the natural beauty of the city and its rich historical heritage.
Spring Nature and Walking Experiences
Spring brings blooming landscapes across Jerusalem, offering opportunities for outdoor exploration. Visitors can enjoy seasonal flowers, scenic walking routes, and nature sites throughout the city. At Hava BaGai in the Jerusalem Walls National Park, visitors can experience reconstructed ancient agricultural practices, including seasonal crops, fruit trees, wheat fields, medicinal plants, and herbs. During Passover, a special festive experience follows the historical pilgrimage route, beginning at Havat BaGai with workshops and activities for families. The experience continues with a musical procession and actors, leading toward the Pool of Siloam and the City of David, and along the original pilgrimage path toward the foundations of the Western Wall.
City of David Tours
The City of David offers guided tours through ancient underground systems, including shafts and tunnels that were part of Jerusalem thousands of years ago. Visitors can walk through the Siloam Tunnel using flashlights and experience the flowing spring water that once served ancient Jerusalem.
