"Pianos in Jerusalem" Festival 2024

The "Piano Festival" is the most beloved live music event held every year in the fall and is hailed as the best of its kind in Israel.

The "Pianos in Jerusalem" festival will be held again this year, bringing forward the varied essence of the beloved musical instrument. The extraordinary performances and events will be held at the Jerusalem Theater on November 7-10th.  

This year, the spotlight belongs to the vast catalog of Camille Saint-Saëns, whose renewed popularity were on the rise recently. During the four days of the festival, a wide variety of the iconic works of the French composer and organist will be performed in an extraordinary and exciting presentation, among other exciting events and shows.

Piano, Organ, and Computer Together

A special evening that brings together classical work and modern innovation, with a unique program of selected works by Camille Saint-Saëns and an innovative concerto by Amnon Wolman using advanced technological means.

Performed by the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra and conducted by Roï Azoulay. Soloists: Malachi Rosenbaum and Hagai Yodan.

Boundless Romanticism

A particularly romantic concert performed by the Israel Camerata Jerusalem, conducted by Nir Cohen-Shalit

I Shall Sing Songs on My Piano - Yonatan Razel in an intimate, piano-accompanied concert of his favorite songs

Yonatan Razel, a renowned singer and songwriter will perform his best works in exciting acoustic versions accompanied by piano, along with new songs from his new album which had already produced several hits. The artist connects the hearts of listeners from across the Israeli spectrum – secular, religious, and ultra-Orthodox alike, and is best known for his songs in the whole diaspora.

French Carnival

A special morning event that brings the audience two outstanding works by Saint-Saëns, beloved by listeners of all ages: "The Carnival of the Animals" for a narrator, two pianos, flute, clarinet, glockenspiel, xylophone, and string instruments, and "Danse Macabre " - Op. 40 for Two pianos. 
The works will be performed by the Jerusalem Street Orchestra under the direction of Ido Shpitalnik, with Tina Ronkin and Orit Wolf on piano and Yaron London as the narrator.
