The festival is suitable for families and children of all ages. Workshops and demonstrations with Ein Yael’s finest artists and team: ancient pottery and clay vessel making, an earth-building workshop, olive harvest and olive pressing, bonfire bread baking and wheat sowing, grandmother’s remedies - medicinal and edible plants, weaving with lulav leaves, traditional wool weaving, archaeological theater and more stations and activities.
This year the festival includes the festive launch of the Roman reconstruction compound, with iron blacksmithing demonstrations, Roman-method glass bead making, woodwork, leatherwork and coin minting, plus a mosaic workshop for kids. And of course a kosher sukkah and plenty of Jerusalem nature await you.
