Resonance The Israeli Chamber Project at the National Library

A new concert series at the National Library in collaboration with the Israeli Chamber Project. Five one-of-a-kind concerts, which give life in sounds to northern characters and themes in the library's archives.

In the exhibition “Treasury of Words,” you are invited to embark on a journey through time via words and to view ancient manuscripts up close: the first printed Talmud, ancient maps of Jerusalem, a 9th-century Qur’an, and more…You can also draw inspiration from the handwriting of S.Y. Agnon, Rabbi Kook, Naomi Shemer, David Grossman, Hannah Szenes, and other renowned cultural figures who created in Hebrew, Arabic, and other languages. Browse unique digital books, dive into the past through historical newspapers, and listen to musical works and liturgical poems.In the exhibition, you will see with your own eyes original manuscripts that shaped our history and culture here, hear the stories behind them, and understand why they are so important to us.Join a tour of discovery and inspiration that will stay with you long after your visit.The ticket includes entry to the National Library’s rotating exhibition and access to a special, innovative interactive display on a 20-meter-long screen, through which you will rediscover the reading experience and see how books influence our lives.
