By artist Shai Azoulay.

"Bigger Than Me", a new exhibition by artist Shai Azoulay has opened at Yad Vashem. The exhibition features works that Azoulay created during the course of his residency at Yad Vashem.

The Residency Program enables artists from different disciplines to spend time at Yad Vashem, and to gain inspiration from the World Holocaust Remembrance Center's collections, programming, personnel and panoramic views.

During his time at Yad Vashem, Azoulay walked around the campus and explored its monuments and collections, including those dedicated to art, artifacts, photographs and documents. The events of 7 October coincided with the beginning of Azoulay's creative process at Yad Vashem and lend his works a contemporary significance. Present and past collide in this instant.

In the wake of this journey of discovery, he created the body of artwork currently on display at the Museum of Holocaust Art.

Not your usual museum experience. It's so captivating, riveting and horrific. Lots to see and very intense, well worth a visit.
