The International Jazz Festival returns to Jerusalem this summer, presenting the best jazz artists from Israel and the world.
Every performer was carefully hand-picked under the critical artistic eye of the renowned trumpeter Avishai Cohen.
The eighth edition of the beloved festival will join together all worlds and spheres – the performances will take place in the various areas of the magical Art Garden, out in the clear Jerusalem air. The festival will be also extended to intimate performances in the art galleries at the Israel Museum. You may also enjoy special encounters of genres and styles, created by artists from Turkey, Africa, Yemen, and other countries, as well as distinguished jazz from the US and Europe.
Guests of the festival are invited to wander around the museum and enjoy a wide range of premieres and original productions, unique collaborations, surprising breakthroughs, improvisations, masterclasses, and night jams.
This unique collision between music and art at the Museum attracts thousands of cultural enthusiasts from all over the country, creating a multi-dimensional dialogue and a unique atmosphere that each participant will crave the experience again and again.
The Jerusalem Jazz Festival is another amazing project from the creators of the Israel Festival, sponsored and supported by the Jerusalem Foundation and endorsed by the Ministry of Culture and Sport, and the Jerusalem Municipality.
