The traditional Jerusalem March, which takes place every year, is one of the most important and colorful events in Israel during the Sukkot holiday. Tens of thousands are expected to participate in the march this year as well.

The Jerusalem March has two parts: a morning walk and a happening at Sacher Park.

There are three spectacular routes to choose from:
12 km starting at Givat Massuah
9 km starting at Ein Yael
5 km starting at Safra Square

  • All of the routes finish at Sacher Park, where a happening with live performances, including a headliner, and activities for the whole family will take place.
  • In order to receive a medallion, registration via the website is required (cash payments will not be accepted).
  • Shuttles will run from Teddy Stadium to all starting points, and from the International Convention Center (aka Binyanei HaUma) area to Givat Massua and Ein Yael.

The Routes

  • Route A - 12 km, suitable for experienced walkers (participants can start anytime between 7:00 and 9:00):
    Givat Massuah - Upper Lavan Ridge - a section of the Israel National Trail - Ein Lavan - Nadav Road - Emek Refa'im Park - AlMaliach Park - Nayot - the Valley of the Cross - the Israel Museum - the Knesset - Sacher Park
  • Route B - about 9 km, medium level of difficulty (participants can start anytime between 7:30 and 9:30):
    Ein Yael obervation point - Nahal Refaim Park - AlMaliach Park - Nayot - the Valley of the Cross - the Israel Museum - the Knesset - Sacher Park
  • Route C - about 5 km, low level of difficulty, suitable for families (participants can start anytime between 8:00 and 10:00):
    Safra Square - Jaffa Gate - Zion Gate - Habonim Garden - Yemin Moshe - President's Residence - Rehavia - Valley of the Cross - Sacher Park
