This free tour begins in Mamilla Mall. The beautiful, high-end shopping center opened in all its glory not too many years ago. But the neighborhood is not a new one; learn about the beginning of western Jerusalem via the interspersed buildings which date back a century and more.
Then continue along the southern wall of the Old City, overlooking the western side of Jerusalem from the Bonei Yerushalayim Garden, hearing about Zion Gate and its walls.
Visit a huge church that was destroyed hundreds of years ago and finally arrive at an observation point of Al Aqsa Mosque, the holiest place in Jerusalem for Muslims.

About the municipality’s free Saturday tours
All of the municipality’s free tours meet on Saturday at 10:00am in Safra Square (26 Yaffo Street), near the palm trees. They are given in English unless otherwise specified, are a medium level of difficulty and without Shabbat desecration.
The routes are subject to change.
All tours are given by licensed guides and take place in all weather conditions.
The tours are suitable for indiviuals and not for groups. Groups can reserve a guide through the Jerusalem Development Authority.
