Every year, for 4 weeks in February, the Shaon Horef Cultural Festival transforms the streets of Jerusalem into a lively cultural venue full of surprises as thousands of young people come together for this exciting series of cultural happenings.
2018 festival events will be updated as they become available
The sixth annual festival saw around 100 free (or almost free) events take over the Shushan district, Azza Street, Nahalat Shiva and Hillel Street every monday in February 2017.
Shaon Horef events always include a variety of music, dance, street theater, video art, cooking workshops, parties, artist master classes and exhibitions.
Most of the lectures, discussions and workshops are in Hebrew, but that doesn’t mean non-Hebrew speakers can’t enjoy the atmospheres and there are numerous events that don’t require Hebrew for enjoyment.
