In addition, you may enjoy exquisite handmade pasta with surprising sauces, fresh fish, risotto that melts in your mouth, and a variety of salads with rich cheeses.</p><p>In addition, the Palomino has a bar offering over 60 different types of wines from around the world, and a selection of cocktails to pair perfectly with the restaurant's menu.</p><h1>Private events at Palomino Restaurant</h1><p>Celebrating a birthday, a bar mitzvah, a bat mitzvah, a brith, or any other joyful occasion? At Palomino Restaurant, you can organize a dream event in an elegant atmosphere for up to 80 guests. Three spaces are suitable for events: the restaurant's interior (including the bar), the courtyard of the restaurant, and a terrace overlooking Independence Park (a smoking area).</p>

Palomino is an Italian lounge-style restaurant founded by four childhood friends with a dream: to bring in the flavors of the finest Italian cuisine to Jerusalem.

A classic Italian experience

<p>The restaurant is a part of the “Music Square” compound - a platform for bringing people together through music and cultural activities that take place every day. Every day, from noon to 2 PM, you may dine to the sounds of beautiful classical music. The perfect experience and completed by the exceptional service offered by the staff.</p><h3>The gems of the menu</h3><p>Piccolino serves unique dishes, combining Italian simplicity and impeccable quality, granted by using only the freshest ingredients. The experience is completed with smells of delicious pastries, which is highly suitable when taking into account that this building formerly used as the local bakery of the neighborhood. We especially recommend the “White pizza,” a special pizza without tomato sauce, but based on mozzarella cheese only, “Arancini” risotto balls with mushrooms, and mascarpone cheese baked in bread crumbs. The soups are a unique charm, especially on cold days. The desserts are worth to be mentioned since they’re a real delight and offer large varieties.</p><h3>Private events at Piccolino</h3><p>The place is available for all kinds of private events, including birthdays, bar and bat mitzvahs, parties for employees, and more. A private room hosts up to 35 people and the lounge – up to 130 guests. The restaurant is committed to giving back to the community in any way possible, including employing new repatriates and disabled workers, as fully paid an integral part of the team. Additionally, the restaurant makes sure to donate leftovers from Friday nights and events to Yeshiva and institutions for at-risk youth.</p><h3 style="text-align:left;" dir="ltr">Additional Information</h3><p style="text-align:left;" dir="ltr">Piccolino is certified Mehadrin kosher.</p>

<span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 14px; line-height: 22px;">The first branch of Mifgash Hasheikh (the sheikh's meeting place) was established in July 1990 on Tzeret Street in Talpiot, the first of its kind in Jerusalem open 24 hours a day except for Shabbat. The restaurant was only 80 square meters yet had an incredible atmosphere and will always be remembered as the mythological branch. What sets this restaurant apart and has turned it into a brand name for the past 20 years is its recipes and quality ingredients - the dough, real cheeses, special sauce and sesame seeds all baked in the original stone oven. Where does the name "Mifgash HaSheikh" come from? In the 1980's, way before laptops, Facebook and smartphones, the Sheikh sat in the Old City and welcomed guests on Friday nights. Guests would drink Sahlab, eat long pretzels with za'atar and savor a good watermelon for dessert into the wee hours of the night. Then, at the onset of the first Intifada, it was difficult to find the way to the "sheikh" so the idea came to move the meeting place from within the Old City walls to popular nightlife areas, hence the name "Mifgash Hasheikh". </span>
