Simple and tasty food
TripAdvisor RatingReviewed on February 19, 2020

Locals and tourists alike are filling this place located just few minutes walk from Damascus Gate. A large space in an historical building, but nothing fancy - grilled meat, rice, starters and few other simple and freshly cooked dishes. Service may be a bit slow but always smiling, and prices are fair.

Do yourself a favor and avoid this awful tourist trap. Easily the WORST falafel I’ve had in my entire life. Staff was rude, impatient, and dismissive. The final insult was being served a wet, ice cold falafel that smelled like sweat mixed with cat feces. I’m not exaggerating for dramatic purpose. In a country full of such delicious cuisine, this turd of a restaurant is unfortunate to say the least.

Excelent food and service. The staff are very kind. Reasonable prices. Don't miss the kebab and the local coffee!
