We had a large group of friends and wanted to go out for dinner together. This restaurant is located on the 2nd floor of the Ana Tico House which a number of years ago had another restaurant. We were very happy with our evening. The setting was very nice. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was very good and reasonably priced. We all had a great time. We liked it so much that my wife and I came back another time a few evenings later. Call for a reservation and ask to be seated on the outside balcony.

Visited on a busy Thursday evening - booking is essential, and we were given a table on the balcony, as requested. I had the raw fish starter, which was served in a light dressing, with pistachios, a little chilli and mint. Beautifully presented, fresh and delicious- although served in a rather small portion, which was also the case for some of the other dishes. My companions’ starters - arancini and a salad with buffalo mozzarella and roasted peaches - looked excellent, and they were very happy with them. Main courses were mainly pasta (delicious but smallish portion) and pan fried striped bass, served with lovely buttery fettuccini. The wine list is good, and service was fine, if not overly friendly. With drinks and a couple of bottles of wine between the four of us, the bill does quickly become quite expensive, although not out of line with other restaurants at this level in Jerusalem.

The environWe had a late dinner and the place was still packed. The food, however, is not as good as it used to be. I had a mediocre pasta ("arrabiata") and the very expensive fish dish did not look good and judging by how much was left on the plate, was not. The pitza was ok, no more than that and the sweets were too sweet. I had not been there for a while and plan to give it a miss for quite a while longer.ment is still great but the food is fading.
