Four of us went out for dinner last night and chose the newly renovated Anna (Ticho) House. What a fortuitous choice. One of our companions said it was the best dinner she had had in a long time! The style is minimalist inside but enough of the century old architecture to make it interesting. Reservations are a must and we were strangely given a time an end time when the meal would end. They were spot on but due to the popularity of the place, second seatings are booked. We arrived at 6:30 and were seated immediately but I noticed others were standing at the door for awhile. Cocktails were offered and an extensive wine list (Israeli only) but we chose to be clear-headed and contented ourselves with Italian mineral water. The choice of breads included grisini which i am sorry I didn't choose since they looked wonderful but we had two of their foccacia and all of the primi offerings which were varied grilled vegetables with cheeses. The plates were licked clean and on to the pasta. We chose several of the varieties offered including one with truffle oil which was a real hit. We finished with 3 desserts all of which were the best in their class. Somewhat expensive but great value for money and worth saving your pennies up for a truly memorable meal!

located in a beautiful historic house that previously served as hospital and museum. Very cozy and agreeable atmosphere, friendly and professional staff. All meals we ordered were absolutely delicious and very carefully conceived. Italian dairy restaurant and yet surprisingly original dishes. Very highly recommended

In the renovated museum, the galleries are on the ground floor and the restaurant is upstairs. Service was attentive and the menu, while not huge, had interesting choices. One of our group had eaten here before and insisted, rightly so, that we get all the appetizers. We were five people, and shared everything at this Kosher, dairy restaurant. The wine, from Odem Mountain, was a big hit. There are pastas and fish selections. This is a fairly small place, but there are tables for six and a separate room which easily accommodates ten. There is also seating at the bar. At the entrance there is a big bowl of roasted garlic and black olives, with a spoon in it. Instead of an after dinner mint, a little something to whet the appetite. Chef Nimrod's are creative and delicious. The only dish that disappointed me was the pizza. I love thin crust, but this was more like a cracker at the edges, and the flavor was underwhelming. Nevertheless it was a wonderful meal.

We took All the pastas and risotto on the menu and they were amazing. Bread and pesto was delicious. The Anna cocktail and a version of a tequila negroni are highly recommended. Staff was super friendly. Located in an old historical house. Only dish that wasn't so great was the white pizza but overall a perfect experience!
