If you are going to celebrate a bar/bat mitzvah in Jerusalem and are wondering where to have a breakfast/ lunch/ dinner to celebrate, THIS IS THE PLACE! We have celebrated the bar/bat mitzvahs of several of our family members at the Wall. BTA is very conveniently located near the courtyard to the Wall just before the entrance to the Jewish section. The food and ambiance is amazing. Amir, one of the owners, is a true professional. He makes planning a Simcha very easy. We were in Jerusalem for the purpose of celebrating our son’s bar mitzvah. We had booked BTA for the lunch following the bar mitzvah which was going to be held at the southern Wall. The forecast called for torrential rain. Amir very graciously agreed to allow us to hold the ceremony and the lunch at BTA (and thereby avoided having all of our guests standing outside in the pouring rain). We are very grateful for Amir’s hospitality. BTA is fantastic !

VIA DOLOROSA - and a meal in between

While in Jerusalem old city visit Between the Arches, Kosher L’ Mehadrin - enjoy Humus salad and breads with drinks and quick meal selections. Good for veggies too. Good food and place while walking the Road of the Cross. Hot tea too. Pay cash. Have a break!

I suggest this restaurant for three reasons: 1)food which is very good; 2)location (in the jewish area of the old town); 3) price (correct for the location and food). In my view this is a restaurant that people have to take into consideration.
