Re-visited for the first time since a year and tried the recommended dishes including the ”triple burger” dish.. unfortunately we can conclude and say that not the food nor the service are in a reasonable level. the place is not recommendedunless in case of emergency…
Black Bar ‘n’ Burger
- Price $$$$
“Celebrity chef Tzahi Bukshester’s Black Bar ‘n’ Burger chain has already racked up 12 branches throughout the country, and the Jerusalem chapter offers more of the same: rich, tasty dishes, with an emphasis on quality, juicy meat and hamburgers that are above the pack in terms of flavor and texture, alongside a well-stocked bar.
For Bukshester, the move to “fast food” was a no-brainer. “As my culinary sensibilities mature,” he says, “I find it increasingly fun to come up with food that is simple and tasty, with fun flavors that come from top-quality products and appeal to anyone who likes to eat.”
Located on Shlomzion Street, Jerusalem’s Black Bar ‘n’ Burger can seat up to 150 famished carnivores, in addition to the exclusive private room, which can accommodate as many as eight. All of the chain’s restaurants feature a design concept that playfully weaves together shades of red and black with sophisticated lighting. There is a broad range of seating options: at the bar, around tables, on benches, or -if wiping ketchup off your partner’s chin is your idea of a romantic outing – on a terrace facing a beautiful view of the Old City.
Black Bar ‘n’ Burger-goers boast a selection of 12 hamburger and meat dishes to choose from, including such standout options as the Black Diamond, a premium hamburger made of beef fillet and stuffed with baked sweet potatoes; the “Meh” lamb burger; the Fish Burger, made with fresh salmon; and even the Popeye Burger, essentially a beef patty souped up with spinach and nuts.

LessWe eat at this burger bar during our visit in Jerusalem. The burgers and the rest of the dish wasn’t good enough. And below my expectations. A lousy service. I will come back again.
