Overall i think it bring good value. Do sit up on the rooftop. We have a seafood pan. Was not so hot but we had a nice time eventhough everyone were smoking around us

The Brasserie is located in the quaint Ein Karem village in a great stone house. The food, beyond its other properties, is tasty and a few dishes are unusual. We were a large group (10 people with kids) and had a variety of starters and entrees. We did not stay for dessert. Disclaimer - our party was with babies, twins specifically. The restaurant is cramped, the private room is taken over by a huge central table which leaves very little room to manoeuvre around. Unfortunately we had a twins baby carriage with us which made things worse. It was difficult to deeper than past the door. The building is old and so passages are narrow, the stairs to the 2nd floor are steep and table positioning make it very difficult to move. Service was ok, our single waiter was courteous if a little impatient with the mess we were generating around us. He assisted us in moving furniture, decorative wood piles and other assorted art. We were surprised by the prices and even warned by the waiter that certain dishes were not large. He was not exaggerating. The starter dishes were tiny, expensive (though very tasty). The entrees were also overpriced. The older children all had burgers which seemed to deliver and were a little more evenly priced. Some of us skipped entrees, others picked the lower priced salads. All in all, not the best meal.

The service was much better than the usual Israeli restaurant. The terrace had a nice breeze and views. The salad was excellent. The ravioli was very good if a bit oily. The problem was with the meat pie where the meat was still on the raw side. I saw a similar comment in another review. Sticks with things that are not ground meat and you will be fine. A bit expensive for a lunch.
