Café Asia
Café Asia is a new Asian food restaurant that was recently opened in Jerusalem Cinematheque. Offering visitors an opportunity to enjoy a variety of interesting and authentic foods, the restaurant focuses mainly on Thai and Vietnamese cuisine mixed with influences borrowed from the Indonesian kitchen as well. The design is modern, classy, and elegant and the atmosphere is rather Eastern.
The restaurant’s menu showcases a wide variety of Asian cooking techniques, each representing a unique culinary experience. You will find real Thai and Vietnamese street food, such as shiitake noodles, pad Thai, Smokey red curry, and tom yam – just to name a few. At the Tam-Tam section, you’ll find the famous (and super spicy) green papaya salad, also known as som tam. If you’re looking for more festive varieties, you can try the celebratory Kab-Kem section or experiment with a tasting menu for two/four. There are vegan and vegetarian options as well as special meals for children. To wash it all down, Café Asia offers a beautiful cocktail menu, which also incorporates the Asian flavor and even includes Asian smoothies. And if you’re feeling like dessert, we recommend checking the Jasmine tea panna cotta served with fruit and condensed milk or the match white chocolate mousse. Bon Appetit!
