I wouldn’t eat here again, even if it was free. Service was ok, but I’ve had better microwave pizza in college than the stuff they served there. And it was only $25 for the pizza!!

MoreI have been to several Rimon cafes. The food and coffee has been great. Particularly notable is Rimon in Bet Shemesh and Rimon near the Shuk in Jerusalem. I very much like the vegan Shakshuka and in Bet Shemesh and near the Shuk the dish has been full of vegetables with a generous serve of vegan cheese on the top. The SAME dish I was served at Rimon in Mamilla was only tomato mush with a scant sprinkle of cheese, not enough to get a fork through! I was appalled that they would serve this to me like that. I will NEVER go there again. In addition the meet and greet person out the front settled me at a table quickly and there I was left and ignored despite my best efforts to attract the wait staff. My order was slapped down at the table in an 'I don't care' fashion. Whilst I was eating 3 glasses smashed on the floor around me as the staff cleared tables; this was 3 separate incidents. My benchmark for reviews is how well the most simple food is created and presented. I cannot recommend this place at all; neither the chef, the food nor the wait staff which is sad given such a great location. They don't need repeat business here as so many diners are tourists. Beware!
