Started with the reservation, made 10 days before requested date. Specifically asked for indoors, and the day before the date being told that it may not be honored. An order of "Tower of Pancakes with fresh fruit, maple syrup and whipped cream" came with 4 mini pancakes, jam spread and chocolate syrup. The waitress explained that the waiter should have given a true description of how the order comes- REALLY???? An order of Red Shakshuka was initially brought to the customer who ordered the Green Shakshuka. And 20 minutes later, after 4 different inquiries, when everyone was almost finished eating, The Green Shakshuka was brought to the table. Another friend ordered a Sunnysideup egg with her breakfast and was served a fully cooked, burnt egg. No excuse for all of these mistakes. Not going back.

We were seated immediately with menus by the hostess, but then waited for a waiter, finally telling him we were ready to order. We were very clear in asking that our soup be brought first (with 2 spoons) as an appetizer, and then the main dishes. After waiting a reasonable amount of time, one main dish was first served, then several minutes later the soup (1 spoon), and when both were finished, we had to look for waiter for the the 2nd main dish! After finishing, we then had again look for the waiter to ask for the bill. We had a similar experience in March at Caffit on Emek Refaim in the German Colony. The poor service will make us thing twice before returning. PS - the food at both locations was good

Quick bite after visiting the Gardens

The restaurant located at the entrance of the Botanical Gardens. The place is busy and crowded, the service and food are OK, gets the job done if you're hungry. If you're after culinary experience- go somewhere else.
