I ordered the breakfast that was provided in a voucher from the hotel and they were out of juice. There was a lot of bread in the platter. The quality of the food was average.

MoreCafit as MOST ultra kosher FAKE cafe's in Jerusalem ALWAYS was terrible. I have a gil friend who works a block away so due to lack of edible food on Emek Rafaim in general (virtually ALL restaurants on the street go from the low end of mediocre to grotesque and inedible. Cafit is on the grotesque level of that equation) we decided to eat lunch from Cafit. We ordered and I picked it up in person 20 minutes after the order. I ordered four-cheese ravioli with Tomato and Basil sauce. My friend ordered a large Halumi salad. Her salad was full of near rotting iceberg lettuce, and was as is typical of Cafit and other ultra orthodox eateris near flavorless. The imitation marianar on the ravioli (which where purchased and reheated not cook on site it sees) had a slight orange tint, was processed to a slightly orange colored liquid, tasted EXACTLY like the canned imitation ravioli sold in the US under the brand name Chef Boyardi. This (Chef Boyardi) was at one time the most popular meal in the New York City Department of Corrections (I guess because it's fake ultra sugary taste brought most non kosher Americans back to a time when as a 3 yearld their mothers served them this out of sheer laziness. That sort of flavor (that tastes like doctored ketchup and chemicals mixed in a lab) profile has NO business being served by a restaurant. The IDIOT and ignoramouses who came up with this dish and patted themselves on the back for producing this grotesque garbage should be drawn an quartered for producing this garbage. Avoid this place and EVERY restaurant on Emik Rafaim if you have any culinary standards at all!!!

MoreAgainst my character, when I go out for dinner or any kind of 'hanging-out', I try to find the good sides. In this restaurant visit, it's difficult to do so. This is why it's a long review... The sort version - good food, horrible service. When we entered the restaurant everything was ok. We ordered the 'fukacha' for starters. We got it before the table was set. The pesto was mostly parsley, not basil. We moved-on. For main dishes I ordered the fried salmon and my wife ordered 'oregenato'(or another similar name) with mushrooms and Halumi cheese. The 'oreganato' should have tomatos, cucumbers etc. When the dishes were served (fairly quickly), the were on the large side. And this is the only good thing I have to say. While my dish was ok, my wife's was not - no Halumi cheese, no tomatos, no sauce. We asked a waiter the check and we asked for the menu (maybe no tomatos should be in this dish). She brought only the Halumi cheese (on a separate plate) and left. We called her again and she went and brought the menu. We asked for the manager. The manager was either the young (25 yo max) girl flirting on the bar with the bartender or the other girl (~25 yo) very busy chewing her gum. When we asked, again, for assistance, the original waiter came and brought us we asked for. We we asked for the desert menu, we got it fast and the table was cleared from the plates, yet it wasn't clean nor it was cleaned. I cleaned it by myself. To get the bill we waited 5 minutes after asking for it twice. To get my credit card back I waited another 5 minutes. Despite the tasty large side dishes, I will never return to this place. Sad.
