We ordered wild bass for two that was highly recommended by the waiter. It was overcooked and was extremely flavorless. The worst part is that somebody that looked as the person responsible asked us how are we enjoying the food (he was actually the fourth person to ask so we exploded and told him) he responded: we trust the fish (his explanation that the fish is completely insipid). There was no apology at all or to try to offer free desert or anything. We are not going back to this restaurant. And, yes the fish was 270 IS!!! .

Everytime my wife and I visit Jerusalem, it seems we always find a reason to return to this superb seafood restaurant. The last time we were here was a year ago, and the quality standard has remained high. This year we had a grilled drumfish, and a mixed seafood in white wine and garlic; our friend had the mussels in white wine and garlic. The three dishes were outstanding. As usual, the wine list was extensive. We chose the Pelter Chardonnay which paired well with our dishes. The service, by Tom, was professional and warm; she is s waiter's waiter. This restaurant may not have the reputation of Ramiro in Lisbon, but it has deservedly acquired its own excellent reputation in Jerusalem.

Try to find this gem. The meal starts off with them bringing you 9 small dips and veggies with some bread. All were fantastic and a great surprise (they bring it right out to you). This is a fish place. Choose one of many choices and choose how it is prepared and choose your side sauce. Excellent, fresh fish prepared in a simple and delicious manner. Great deserts as well. Loved this place!

The meal begins with small salads which are replenished upon request, along with a Moroccan-style bread. The menu offers many kinds of fish with a choice of sauces, seafood, and specialties of the chef. Prices are reasonable, considering that the place is located in a busy tourist area near Rivlin and Yoel Solomon Streets. I generally choose a grilled fillet of fish with the white wine and garlic sauce, and always enjoy the entree. There are additional starters for those who want to go beyond the meze openings, and there are meat and pasta dishes available, which makes it a viable place for a group of varied tastes. The wait staff is excellent, and Moshiko, one of the owners, is attentive and charming.
