We always make a point of coming to eat here when we visit. Food is fresh and hearty. My preference is for the regular fish in batter with chips, but I have never regretted ordering anything else on menu. Easier to find from the Agripas side of the market.

We were looking for a respite from the typical Middle Eastern fare so went exploring and found this “gem” in the Mahane Yehuda (the main market, shuk) in Jerusalem. We ordered traditional British-style fish (cod) and chips. What a surprise, our order came out lighning-fast and piping hot (had to let it cool before diving in). The fish was crispy and flavorful and the “chips” (french fries were perfect)! Hope to go back before returning home (U.S.). Thank you “Fishenchips”!

The food is very good and the portions are large. The fries (chips) are crispy but don't come salted. There are several types of fish available breaded and fried. One of us had that and one of us had the red tuna salad. There was a huge protion of sliced rare tuna on top of greens with cucumbers and tomatoes. The dressing was overly abundant for me. Next time I would get it on the side. The fish and chips portion was large enough to share as was the salad. Order at the counter. They give you a vibrating thing which lets you know when your food is ready. Seating across the way in front of another restaurant.
