The "Tachana" or the Station in Jerusalem is a popular location for locals and tourists. One of the restaurants is called Hamiznon - kitchen station. The restaurant is small but quaint , however in the winter it's a bit chilly if you're sitting on the sides. The service was good and the menu was decent. The prices were a bit expensive for this type of restaurant. It's a nice family type restaurant and the portions were quite large. I had the fish & chips. The fish was crispy and tasty and the chips were superb and they gave a huge amount of chips. I would go again.

Positive atmosphere, good service, food was average. A nice place in a good location - will tray another meal next time.

We were looking for a restaurant in the Tachana Rishona neighbourhood and were recommended Hamiznon. It's a restaurant with a distinctive style of its own and a pleasing view of the Tachana Rishona concourse. It ticked the boxes we wanted for milky/vegetarian. The service was great. The menu was inventive and exciting. We readily...

The menu was inventive and exciting. We readily found several meals we were happy to share... with many more I would love to savour on a return visit.

Our group of 20 were seated at 5 different tables inside this eclectic restaurant. We began with bread and a variety of dips as our table's appetizer, which was also served with olives. Some of the dips were typical and some were funky, but all were delicious. For my entree I had a fish dish which was served in a cast iron pan with the tastiest tomato/ pepper sauce-truly a unique dish I would highly recommend. One friend had a tremendous salad which looked amazing, another had pea soup and the soba noodle dish which was another winner. Fish tacos also were a hit and the bottle of wine we shared was very reasonably priced. Service was fine. Would absolutely suggest a visit to Kitchen Station when walking around First Station-which is a wonderful marketplace with a live music stage and restaurants and bars.

We were a party of five for dinner on a cool December Saturday night. We booked in advance and on arrival were greeted by a friendly staff member and shown to our table. We ordered different salads which were served in really big and generous bowls. However despite the attractive presentation, the taste of the salads was disappointing and below expectation. I ordered salad based on trout cuts and to my dismay there were three or four tiny slips of trout which made no impression on the general taste of the salad. The others in our party were also less than ecstatic about the salads they ordered. We all expected more and were let down. A pity as the restaurant seems to hve great potential.
