After we heard recommendations about this place my wife and I were really looking forward to enjoying an authentic middle eastern meal. We went for lunch and were very disappointed. Not all of the food was hot, and the dishes we ordered were not the tastiest... The tables are very close together with loud music which makes it difficult to talk. It felt like more of a fast food restaurant than the upper scale place the menu prices would suggest. We also heard two couples that were sitting beside us complain also so it wasn’t just us that felt that way. Our server was very nice, but overall just an average restaurant, expensive for what you get, very crowded, with a well known head chef... We won’t be back.

We ate lunch at Hamotzi as part of a large group that had made a reservation a number of weeks in advance. The service was far too casual and the hostess was annoying. She pestered us every few minutes the entire time that we were there to give her and the place a good review on a local restaurant app. As for the food, it was nothing special.

After enjoying the Israeli cuisine for 10 days, we decided to go Moroccan for our last night. Not a bad choice, although a lot of dishes are a mixture of both cuisine. We have tried the salad, which is a combination of small plates with pickled veggies and cooked eggplant with tomatoes and garlic. Then we sampled the Algerian fried fish with spicy sauce( nicely fried fish but nothing extra special). For main dish we choose the Hamotzi grill( grilled sweetbreads, chicken hearts, spleen), and lamb kebab cooked in a tomato sauce. Both tasty, flavorful without being very spicy. The background music was maybe a little to loud, but after couple of beers I don’t think we care that much. The waiter was friendly and helpful, so overall a nice dinner.
