While in the Jewish Quarter, our group stopped here for lunch. Very nice selection and very helpful servers. It was cafeteria style which I like because you can see the food and ask any questions. The quiche as well as other entrees were heated - that was very nice. Drink was included - also nice. The best surprise was the dessert selection. Pecan pie and others - too big for one, but really nice to share! Ample seating and helpful server and good food. Worth a try!

Is a normal cafe with average portion of falafel but very expensive, the double of the price than in UK

I had lunch with about 5-6 friends at the Quarter Cafe when we were exploring the Old City one afternoon. I saw that it was up on a hill and thought: that might have a view! AND DOES IT. So - firstly - the food is good. It's sort of cafeteria style, but everything is excellent. I had a spinach and cheese blintz with pesto and a side of hummus and falafel for good measure. Some people had fish, others had latkes (it was Hanukkah when we were there) or quiche... Everything was delicious. The prices were a little high, but I feel like you're probably paying for the view. So, the view. Most people sat downstairs where it was crowded and loud. I can only assume that is because they didn't see the staircase in the corner or that they didn't want to carry their trays of food up the stairs. To each their own, but I don't think eating at the Quarter View Cafe is a complete experience unless you've gone up there to see that view. A view of the Jewish and Armenian Quarters from one side of windows and the Christian and Muslim Quarters from the other side of the room. Windows everywhere. View of everything. The view of the Al-Aqsa Mosque was particularly stunning in my opinion. I highly recommend eating here.
