We had chicken parmesan and chicken with champagne sauce. Food was excellent, service and atmosphere were warm and friendly. I highly recommend this place for a unique experience in the middle of old Jerusalem.

Stepping into smallish Katy’s is entering the vast Jewish Mediterranean world. The decor shows an eclectic mix of oil paintings, humorous period prints and the black & whites of famous Israeli leaders. Before you’ve sat down, there’s the deliciously warm brioche; the mezze plate also appears automatically. The choice of food is wonderfully fresh. Portions are generous, but not in a silly or unhealthy way. Wines are excellent locals, both of the house variety or from the list. And then there’s Katy herself: maybe on time, maybe not, but very much present, charming and having sized you up all the way. She knows what you like. Yes, it may be the oldest restaurant in Jerusalem, but it’s timelessly relevant, cozy and fresh. While not cheap, when in Jerusalem, don’t miss this.

If you’re looking for a change of pace - this is it. French Moroccan cuisine with dishes from neighboring countries. Very good wine and excellent service. Family friendly but couples present as well. Definitely recommend!
